Below, we have resources for spiritual growth that are easily accessible from home.
Each Monday morning, you can start your week off in a positive way with Asbury's Weekly Prayer. This prayer goes out by email, and is also posted here on our website. These prayers are selected from writers through the centuries, as well as original writings from our Asbury staff.
LifeWords: Shared Words to Inspire and Enrich Your Life, by Jan Cooke( Director of Adult Ministries) :
From my childhood to the present moment, I am deeply moved by the power of written words. I am convinced that the director of my life has been positively impacted by the "good words" I have discovered in a wide range of reading genres and I have avidly collected these treasures for decades. I am delighted to have this opportunity to share words which hopefully inspire, enrich, and even challenge you as we take this weekly journey together.
Asbury Prayer Booklet:
Prayer helps us through uncertainty, worry, and doubt, while also helping us to celebrate joy, purpose, and faith. Prayer is a journey and mystery, something we never quite master, but when we practice it, it always brings us closer to God.
This booklet is a collection of prayers written by Asbury staff and members. We hope it will be a blessing and resource for you as you journey with God.
Spiritual Resource Videos:
This collection of videos explores a variety of topics, such as grief, prayer, navigating difficult conversations, race, and parenting.
Praying in Color: Video Series
During this video series, we explore a new way to pray using the book Praying in Color: Drawing a New Path to God by Sybil MacBeth.
