Asbury Mission Team will be traveling to Panama May 22 - May 31, 2020. The team will be installing vented cinderblock stoves in rural homes outside the city of Gualbal, Panama. Currently people in these areas cook inside on a wood stove with no ventilation to the outside. Because of this there is a high incidence of serious lung conditions, especially in the elderly and the children, and many homes are lost due to fire.
If you would like more information about this mission opportunity, please contact Ben Sydboten 337-288-4228 or Vicki Sydboten 337-280-3170 for more information.
You need no experience to join us as there will be on the job training! Men, women, youth, and families welcome.

The Asbury Mission team will be hosting a fundraiser for their mission trip to Panama on Sunday February 4th. Our teams will be building and installing vented stoves and putting in a library at the school in Gualbal. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used for books, building supplies and to defray the missioners cost. One serving of Gumbo, rice, potato salad and bread will be $10. We are looking for volunteers to help with the meal preparation and sales. Please contact Ben Sydboten 337-288-4228 or Vicki Sydboten 337-280-3170 for more information.
