Asbury's Adult Ministries offer a wide variety of small group opportunities which help you connect with others, learn and grow as a disciple of Christ, and make a difference in the world through acts of service. We welcome you to experience the transforming love of Jesus Christ by participating in group life here at Asbury. 

Regular Programming

Faith Walk: Finding God in the Everyday

Faith Walk is a resource for people interested in a short-term 6-week small group experience. This easy-to-use booklet contains quotes, writings and scripture focused on six specific words related to our daily faith journey, one for each week of the study.

Groups are forming throughout the spring and summer and we would love to assist you in joining one! Simply fill out the form linked below, and we will contact you with your group information.

Adult Classes & studies

We host a variety of Bible Study, book clubs, and classes for adults on Monday and Tuesday evenings. We also facilitate fellowship and connection between our Asbury family with pot-luck suppers, church-wide events, and hospitality every Sunday morning. GriefShare is a warm, caring support group for people who have experienced the death of a loved one. Our next 13-week program begins Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 3:30pm and will be held in person on the Asbury campus. By participating in GriefShare you will benefit from weekly videos containing helpful information on grief-related topics, a workbook providing additional resources, and the healing power of a small group experience. These three components work together to help you recover from the deep pain of loss.

DivorceCare is a 13-week support group for people dealing with the challenges of divorce. Each week helpful topics are engaged through video, workbooks, and small group discussion. Weekly meetings are approximately 2 hours in length. For the Fall sesssion, you will have the option of IN PERSON or ZOOM attendance. There is a $15 fee for the DivorceCare workbook and scholarships are available.

Asbury Adult Sunday School classes are ongoing gatherings of faithful people committed to friendship, study, growth, and service. We have a wide variety of classes available, covering all age ranges and life stages and we would be delighted to assist you in finding a group that is perfect for you.

  1. ONLINE Classes: several of our adult classes offer their members ONLINE participation using the ZOOM platform, in addition to meeting in person on the Asbury campus.
  2. IN-PERSON Classes: nine different classes meet at 9:45am in the Asbury Adult Wing and each one is ready to welcome you into the life of the group.
