Jan Cooke, Asbury's Director of Adult Ministry, has gathered a variety of creative and lighthearted resources for you to use with a Zoom gathering of your friends and family.

Adult Sunday School: every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. in the Adult Wing. Childcare or Children's Sunday School is available in the Children's Building. If you are interested in visiting or joining an Adult Sunday School class, please email Jan Cooke, Director of Adult Ministries at and she can find one that is best for you!
DivorceCare is a helpful, caring support group for people dealing with the challenges of divorce. This group is facilitated by Michelle Hernandez, LPC, of Hernandez Counseling of Lafayette. Our next 13-week program begins Monday, September 14th at 6:30pm. Due to COVID-19 concerns, each session will be held ONLINE ONLY. GriefShare is a warm, caring support group for people who have lost a loved one. Our next 13-week program begins Sunday, August 16th at 3:30pm. Adult Classes & studies
We host a variety of Bible Study, book clubs, and classes for adults on Monday and Tuesday evenings. We also facilitate fellowship and connection between our Asbury family with pot-luck suppers, church-wide events, and hospitality every Sunday morning. Adult Ministries hosts a variety of special events throughout the year, promoting Christian education, inspiration, and fun!
Every quarter, our Asbury Men's Ministry hosts an evening of food, fellowship, and inspiration from a featured speaker. Asbury Methodist Men's Ministry aims to develop men's desire to grow spiritually as men and to create meaningful, lasting relationships with like-minded men in the Acadiana area. All Christian men over 16, regardless of domination, are welcome.

Asbury’s annual Pearls of Faith Women’s Fellowship will have a unique look this fall due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions. Please plan to join us on Thursday, September 24th between 11:00 and 12:30 for our first ever “Grab and Go” Lunch Drive Through, located in the Bel Ann parking lot. You will receive an inspiration-filled lunch box and lots of smiles from our Asbury Adult Christian Experience Team. The event fee is $7 and advance registration is required.
